I know I’m bias when I say this but when I think: fashion, dance, pop culture, together, the first thing that comes to my mind is NFL/NBA cheerleaders. Usually at this time of year I'm in full swing getting ready for the start of the NFL season; learning countless dances, getting to know new team mates and adjusting to new situations. But this year is different; instead I'm contacting caterers and florist and checking and double checking contracts and dates getting ready for my upcoming wedding. The most nerve wracking day of the year has ended in a positive bitter-sweet way for me. I will once again be representing the silver and black but a few of my sisters will not be returning. The second time back was definitely more intense than all my previous auditions. There is so much at stake and I just prayed that we would be kept together. I am looking forward to a new year and meeting new girls and learning a ton of new choreography and of course a trip to Hawaii for the calendar shoot!

Three dance mid terms for jazz, ballroom and african-haitian are complete! Three more to go for this week, modern, ballet and pointe! Hope everyone has a fabulous year ahead of them. I know that I'm looking forward to all the new changes in my life and the things that have remained the same.

I've gone back to school and cut my working hours back, the change was overwhelming at first I didn't think that I could do it but in my heart I know it's worth it. Now I'm taking eight dance classes, dance history, french grammar, and international business.
