- Genesis is a North American artist, songwriter, singer and producer born in Guyana South America who currently resides in New Jersey. In 2007 Genesis started making music as an independent artist. Genesis has performed all over the east coast. In 2008 Genesis released "Portraits of My Essences" and sold 200,000 copies independently. Currently Genesis is getting ready to release the LP "Wounded" which is based on relationships and bad break-ups, all over the internet under distribution from Universal Records.
