Road trippin'
This is going to be a quickie post because I need to get to bed! I'm waking up early tomorrow to hit the road for Durham, NC for the American Dance Festival!!! I have a production internship there for the summer. I've been pretty nervous about it for a while but just recently those nerves have morphed into excitement. I can't wait to meet my 2 roommates and the other interns, delve into the technical world, and meet and watch famous dance companies from all over the world perform. I'm meeting a friend for breakfast in town, driving halfway, and meeting another friend for lunch in Richmond, then heading down the rest of the way. About a 5 hour drive...oy. Oh well...I have a 4.4 hour long playlist ready to go on my fully charged iPod!
Off to bed. Wish me luck, and hopefully you can find time this summer to make it to Duke University for a show!
